Cyber Bullying is a serious issue going on in this world. It is bullying through email, instant messages, chat rooms, and cellular text messages. Cyber Bullying needs to stop. It is hurting people all around the world.
There are several examples of cyber bullying. An example of cyber bullying would be someone posting negative comments that would hurt another person on their social networking page. Another example would be a stranger Instant Messaging a person and saying harmful things to them. Cyber Bullying can also be done on a cell phone. You could text someone things that would make them feel bad.
Cyber Bullying is a serious problem and needs to be prevented. Some ways cyber bullying can be prevented is setting your profile page to private so no stranger can look through your information. Another way is to never give out your phone number on social networking sites.If you are being cyber bullied you could see a counselor, or a trusted adult. You should never be afraid because if you don't tell anyone you be harmed even more.
To me Cyber Bullying is very serious and needs to be prevented now. Too many children are committing suicide across the world because of this. If Cyber Bullying is stopped I think that many child suicides would stop. I also believe that the schools should get involved. I think that my school and schools across the country should be required to have a seminar on Cyber bullying and ways to prevent it. Schools should also make the kids practice ways by having them set up their profiles privacy so only friends can see it. Even though it is a serious problem, I believe that it can be prevented someday.
